An AI bedtime story generator that makes real audio stories

How it works

1. You choose the ingredients: up to three heroes, a world, a magic touch, a mood, a length and, if you like, a little lesson.
2. AI writes an original script sized for your child’s age: the pace, the length of the sentences and the number of characters all change with age.
3. Before anything is recorded, an AI safety review reads the whole script with the listener’s age and the story’s mood in mind.
4. The story is produced as audio: a narrator, a different voice for each character, music and sound effects. Listening can start as soon as the first chapter is ready.
5. It stays in your family library, and replaying it is free.

Why not just ask a chatbot?

You can, and some nights a chatbot story read aloud by you is all you need. The difference is what you get back. A chatbot gives you text to read. Keoma gives you a produced story, written to age rules that come from how children listen at each stage, checked for safety, and performed by a cast of voices with music and sound, so your child can listen with the lights off while you sit with them, or not.

Keoma also keeps the stories somewhere safe for children: kids mode only shows the stories you allow, with no ads, no chat and no links out.

What it won’t do

• It won’t put your child’s name in the story. Stories are replayed by the whole family, so real children’s names are kept out of the recordings.
• It isn’t instant: producing the audio takes a few minutes, although listening starts with the first chapter.
• It doesn’t make videos or picture books. Each story has one painted cover, and the rest is sound.
• It doesn’t hide that it is AI. Scripts are written by AI language models and voiced with AI voices from ElevenLabs, and published audio files are marked as AI-generated.
